About Us

Roatan Lifestyle is the guide and concierge for Roatan. The guide is free and open to anyone: where to eat, stay, dive and swim, what things cost, and how to make the most of every kind of day on the island. The concierge is for people who would rather hand the planning to somebody who lives here.

Why we built it

A lot of what is written about Roatan online is out of date. Restaurants move, ports change their names, and prices drift. We live here, so we check things, we date what we publish, and we keep our guides current.

How we work

• We date everything. Every guide says when it was last checked.
• We source what we say. Facts in our guides come with a source you can check, and where sources disagree we tell you.
• We recommend what we would recommend to a friend. Nobody pays to be included in a guide.
• Local knowledge wins. If the internet says one thing and the people here say another, we go and look for ourselves.

The concierge

The same knowledge, applied to your trip: where to stay for what you want, which boat to book, what fits into one day off a ship, and the booking made for you rather than described to you. Get in touch and tell us what you are planning.

How we pay for it
