Areas of Roatan
French Harbour
The island's working heart, with the best supermarkets, the island's services and a busy fishing harbor.
French Harbour sits mid-island on the south shore, about fifteen minutes from the airport. It is where the island shops, fixes things and runs its fishing fleet, and many residents choose to live nearby for the convenience.
Just to the east, Pristine Bay has the Bay Islands' only championship golf course, and the waters around French Harbour are home to cays and beach clubs that make easy half-day trips.
